Beth Tumas, Aristos Harvest
2025 Business Woman of the Year
More than 10 years ago, Aristos’ Harvest was born of a dream that a pilot had dreamt for many years. The pilot lost her wings, sadly (medical issues), and needed a new way to fly. First came the honey bees, which gave wonder, awe and purpose to the wingless pilot. Then goats, which gave laughter and joy not only to the pilot, but also to many others. Peacocks, quail, turkeys, donkeys, horses and more goats followed until the pilot was no longer a pilot but a farmer. This year’s WBC Business Woman of the Year, Beth Tumas, is now a farmer, a 4-H leader, a youth group volunteer and a part of an amazing Pennsylvania community.
Beth is a graduate of the University of Delaware and holds a bachelor of arts in physical education and athletic training. She’s also a graduate of the North American Institute of Aviation. Prior to owning Aristos’ Harvest, Beth was an airline captain for Republic Airways.
Beth lives on the farm in Lincoln University with her husband, Tony.
Willow Clayton
2025 Volunteer of the Year
A Haven is proud to honor Willow Clayton as Volunteer of the Year. Willow is a graduate of Haverford College with a major in psychology and a minor in neuroscience. During their time at Haverford, Willow worked in a neuroendocrinology lab, learning about the brain and behavior during the peripartum period. Through these experiences and volunteering with both A Haven and the Women’s Center of Montgomery County, Willow found a passion for understanding and supporting people dealing with hardship.
This time spent volunteering has been “an honor and a privilege,” and has given Willow the confidence to pursue a dream career in the field of psychology. To that end, Willow leaves Chester County this June to begin a new adventure at the McLean Hospital outside of Boston, working in the inpatient psychiatric program with adolescents dealing with mental illness. Willow’s future plans include pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology to become a therapist specializing in adolescent psychology.
